The Barometer is rising.

doing cartwheels in my office:)

So we ventured out on a scavenger hunt for a glimpse of spring. Not a crocus in sight. In fact, not much will come up from the ground until, say, 15 inches of snow melts. According to some local ice fisherman, the dang ice is still 26" thick in some areas. Doesn't look like the (car) Ferry will be opening any time soon.

Back to yesterday. Although the temperature was just above 40, the slight, but brisk, wind caused an Academy Award winning performance of Take Your Drama to Your Mama by my 2 1/2 year old tot. Since I couldn't find my sanity anywhere in the park, we left.
